ShaliBond BS / CS is a cold applied bituminous adhesive forfixing waterproofing membrane. It is manufactured from special grades ofbitumen, suitably blended with other additives. It has semi-liquid consistencyand is ready to use.used as an exterior protective coating on iron, steel, masonry and other surfaces. • Used as a decorative and protective coating over tar and bitumen-based finishes to protect them against ultraviolet degradation. • It is the recommended protective finish for bitumen-type waterproofing roof materials. • Also used for general steelwork for better heat reflectivity. Advantages • Deflects UV rays and prevents degradation of membrane arising out of exposure to sunlight. • Highly reflective. • Goes on directly to surfaces without priming. • Bitumen content adds to water resistance of the coating.
