Samafit VK I

​Samafit VK I is a two-component waterproofing and sealing system designed to address persistent rising dampness in building structures caused by capillary action. This condition often leads to issues such as peeling of paints and plasters, as well as the deterioration of wooden elements due to moisture absorption. ​

Key Features:

• Effective Dampness Control: Samafit VK I seals capillaries within the structure, preventing water from rising against gravity and mitigating associated dampness problems. ​

• Simple Application: The two components are introduced separately into pre-drilled holes in the affected areas, where they react to form a gel that renders the capillaries non-wettable. ​

Usage Instructions:

1. Drilling: Create pre-drilled holes in a zigzag pattern on the affected wall, with a depth of 70-90% of the wall thickness and a diameter of 12-20 mm.​

2. Injection: Introduce Component I (Samafit VK I) into the holes and allow absorption. After approximately 30 minutes, inject Component II (Samafit VK II) in a similar manner.​

3. Sealing: After treatment, seal the holes with an appropriate sealing compound, such as MC-Fix-ST.
