Hyperdesmo SWR

​HYPERDESMO® S-WR is a one-component, polyurethane-based liquid membrane designed for waterproofing applications in non-exposed areas. It cures upon exposure to atmospheric humidity, forming a highly elastic, hydrophobic membrane suitable for various substrates. ​

Recommended Applications:

• Wet rooms​

• Foundation walls​Flat roofs (beneath tiles or screed)​

• Verandas and balconies (under protective coverings)​

Key Features:

• High Elasticity: Maintains flexibility, accommodating structural movements without cracking.​

• Cold Resistance: The cured film remains elastic even at temperatures as low as -40°C.​

• Breathable Membrane: Allows water vapor transmission, preventing moisture accumulation beneath the coating.​

• Non-Toxic: Safe for use after full curing, with no harmful emissions.​

• Easy Application: Suitable for application on vertical surfaces, simplifying the application process.

Limitations:

• Not recommended for areas exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.​

• Not suitable for applications subjected to high temperatures.​

• Not advised for waterproofing beneath dark-colored tiles in outdoor settings or on thermal insulating materials.​

• Not suitable for unsound substrates or swimming pool surfaces in contact with chemically treated water.​

Application Guidelines:

1. Surface Preparation: Clean substrates to remove contaminants such as oil, grease, wax, cement laitance, loose particles, and mold release agents. Address surface irregularities with appropriate fillers like HYPERSEAL®-25LM-S or HYPERSEAL®-EXPERT.​

2. Priming: Select and apply the appropriate primer based on the substrate, following manufacturer guidelines.​

3. Mixing: Use a low-speed mixer (300 rpm). For spray applications, add 5-10% SOLVENT-01 to achieve the desired consistency.​

4. Application: Apply the product using a roller, brush, or airless sprayer (200-250 bar). Two coats are recommended, with a minimum total consumption of 1.5 kg/m². Ensure that the time between coats does not exceed 48 hours.

• Available in 6 kg and 25 kg pails.​
